The PLC-16K4 delivers 16,000W in a 17-pound, 1U chassis packing new levels of power into minimal rack space. Equipped with 4-channels of Dante / AES67 audio-over-IP digital I/O via 3 configurable network ports, including one PoE port, each PLC port can be configured for audio-only, control-only, or dual operation. The PLC-16K4 can drive up to 32 Theory 16-ohm loudspeakers in Lo-Z mode, or over 400 (!) in Hi-Z mode. You read that right, 400+ Theory speakers from a 1U chassis! All PLC loudspeaker controllers are deployed within the Powersoft Armonia+ System Configuration Software in the exact manner as Powersoft Unica amplifiers, so deploying a Theory PLC system is completely seamless within the already familiar Armonia+ workflow. Full API and modules for popular control systems like Q-SYS™, Symetrix™, and Crestron are available.

You have never experienced bass as “musical” as the Theory SR subwoofers. Built-to-order in the U.S., SR Series subwoofers provide powerful bass output that is visceral and exciting, but also shockingly tight and tuneful. Folks familiar with Theory’s smaller subwoofer transparent and textural sound, will immediately recognize the quality of the low frequency reproduction. The SR-212LF, the smallest of Theory’s SR Series subwoofers, houses two proprietary 12” 1,400W woofers with 4” voice coils in an surprisingly compact and easy to transport package. Like all SR subwoofers, the SR-212LF features 20mm “top hats” on three surfaces for full range speaker pole mounting, driver access for field service, ergonomic handles, and anti-skid rubber feet that mount to M10 fly points. Passive versions can be upgraded to powered versions with a Theory SR Series amplifier kit (sold separately).

The SR-28.2 offers performance, coverage and output similar to the 12” SR-112.2, in a more slender package for applications where form factor is important. The SR-28.2 features an 80º x 60º elliptical horn with particularly controlled response that insures every seat in the intended coverage area hears the same accurate sound. The sound quality is particularly “hi-fi” in its accuracy and refinement. Surprisingly compact, the powerful, high-fidelity SR-28.2 won’t impede on aesthetics – it can be installed discretely, and in tighter locations than other sound reinforcement style speakers on the market. The SR-28.2 was thoughtfully designed from top to bottom including ergonomic handles, multiple fly points, industry-standard mount points, and pole cups.
